The ‘Historic Decision’ by PM-Ban on Rs.500 & Rs.1000 old currency
We are going to tell you what you need to do with RS.500 or RS.1000 notes you are having,readers as these old currency notes are no longer in circulation,within a time limit of 50 days from November 10 to December 30,you all have to exchange these notes in Banks or Post offices,Sub post offices and that by providing them a identity proof that could be Aadhar card, PAN card or voters ID card. November 10 to December 30,is the decided dates on which the currency will be exchanged in banks and post offices,bit if in case a person having these old currency if unable to exchange within the given time period can submit them to Reserve Bank of India after giving them a declaration after 30 December 2016.
Banks & ATM will be closed for Public Transaction
From 8th November Midnight till 10th November 2016,ATM and Banks will be temporarily out of service.So Tomorrow all banks in the country will be closed for public transaction and same with ATMs.Due to this sudden change a inconvenience that a common man will face is the daily use of currency as for a few weeks,Rs.2000 is the limited amount of money that a transaction can holds,later it will be extended upto Rs.4000.A new nite of Rs.2000 will be launched soon.
